Christmas is just around the corner. I always fret at this time of year because I don't make much money and there are people in my family that are expecting gifts from me. There were some good regifting ideas over at badchristian. But I can't really regift superflous things when I don't have them to regift. I have been building my library and I have a series of Piper, Lucado, Hanegraaff, MacArthur, and Dobson books that I find offensive that I could give away and that the people would actually enjoy. But do I give a book that I find intellectually offense to someone that I care about? Given my open door policy about ideoligical viewpoints I probably should but this means that I will eventually end up talking to them about it and they will find out that I think that book is garbage bound up with a cover over it. If any of you have had these sorts of conversations with your families then you can understand my hesitation at doing this.
My sister always makes stuff for her gifts. They are usually crafty things. Of course she doesn't make them for me because she knows it will probably end up in the garbage (I have little use for crafty things). The people she makes them for really seem to appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness though. But the problem is I am really uncreative when it comes to that sort of thing. So no luck there.
Last year I was taking a ceramics class so I used things I made in there as gifts and that covered almost everyone. But this year I have to actually accumulate these gifts and I am at an utter loss as to where they are going to come from. Suggestions and empathy are welcomed :(

You can just get me a hooker if you don't want to waste time shopping for my gift.
